Jason Parry

Jason is the founder of Abundant Philanthropy, a consulting practice focused on helping nonprofits tell their story and develop their strategy to articulate their impact, raise increased philanthropic support and create long-lasting relationships with their constituents.

 

Jason began his work in nonprofit development in April 2006. He has served as a major giving and planned giving specialist at WUWM – Milwaukee Public Radio, the director of development for the Diederich College of Communication and College of Professional Studies at Marquette University and as the vice president, development and communications at Penfield Children’s Center.

 

In addition to his work as a practitioner and consultant, Jason has served as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee for six semesters teaching “Fundraising and Development in the Nonprofit Sector” in the Helen Bader Institute’s graduate program.

 

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Jason spent six seasons in the media relations department for the Milwaukee Brewers serving as the club's assistant director of media relations.

 

Jason has his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in business management and sports marketing and his masters degree in nonprofit management and leadership from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.  He and his wife, Amy, live in Milwaukee and have two teenage sons (Ben & Zach).

Jason Parry

Will Belke

Will creates and executes development strategy planning, grant writing, event sponsor partnership development, and moves management with individuals, corporations, and foundation donors and prospective donors.

 

In addition to his work with Abundant Philanthropy, Will is a Director and current President of Friends of Art (FOA), the largest support organization for the Milwaukee Art Museum, overseeing the annual Lakefront Festival of Art on the Milwaukee Art Museum bringing more than 20,000 people to the lakefront each summer. He also serves on the BloomMKE Board of Directors and has volunteered with many nonprofits including Habitat for Humanity and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County.

 

Will graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Psychology.  After more than three decades in various engineer, leadership and strategic planning IT roles, Will completed the graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee as part of his transition into the nonprofit sector.

Rachel Hullum

Rachel brings extensive expertise in event planning, marketing, partnership development and client services, making her a valuable asset in a wide range of opportunities.

 

With over eight years of experience, Rachel has worked with prominent Milwaukee-based organizations such as Shepherd Express, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Nō Studios, gener8tor, and Central Standard Crafthouse & Kitchen. Her approach is personable, passionate, and detail-oriented.

 

Rachel’s leadership in events spans from 88Nine’s Fall Ball to gener8tor’s Luxembourg experience and Shepherd Express’ Best of Milwaukee. She has successfully launched event programs from the ground up and booked large-scale events at major venues, always with a focus on creating meaningful connections.

Rachel Hullum

Young Kim

Young is a seasoned nonprofit professional with more than 25 years experience serving in leadership and grants management roles.

 

More than 20 years of experience writing compelling grant applications that generate results has been shaped by his work with the School Sisters of St. Francis, Bridge to Brighter, and the USA Swimming Foundation. 

 

His tenure as the executive director at the Fondy Food Center and Groundwork Milwaukee informs the holistic approach he takes to grant writing and his ability to articulate an organization’s impact and vision for success. This perspective affords him an appreciation of an organization’s unique operational needs and results in robust grant writing programs that are grounded in reality and built for long term success.

Danielle Nelson

Danielle brings extensive expertise in frontline fundraising, development coaching, team building, data analytics and strategic marketing to her work with nonprofit organizations. 

 

Danielle specializes in crafting effective individual giving strategies, cultivating lasting donor relationships, and executing comprehensive annual giving plans. With over 15 years of experience, Danielle has successfully led development teams across diverse sectors, including K-12 and higher education, public media, and women’s rights organizations. 

 

Her deliberate approach to fundraising, coupled with her focus on relationship development, has consistently driven growth and long-term sustainability for the organizations with whom she partners.

Mackenzie SCHMITT

Located in Northeast Wisconsin, Mackenzie is an art director and graphic designer specializing in brand identities. Having a background in traditional advertising and marketing, she brings intentionality, an eye for detail, and strategic thinking to all of her work. 

 

Outside of the design world Mackenzie can be found playing with her two energetic dogs, baking new recipes or planning her next international trip.

Antonia Towns

Antonia brings expertise in prospect identification and research, database management, and donor stewardship to her work with nonprofit organizations.

 

Antonia specializes in prospect identification and research, gift processing and acknowledgement, and database administration. She uses ethical research practices and data mining to discover new prospects thoughtfully managing donor data confidentially.

 

For more than six years, Antonia has worked alongside the development teams of nonprofits both big and small including disaster relief, early childhood education, health, arts/culture, community foundations, and economic development organizations.
